Road Safety

Roads around schools are busy places, usually only briefly in the morning and afternoon when students are being dropped off and picked up.  Patience, care and consideration is vital to ensuring everyone's safety and wellbeing, especially our children as they don't have the traffic experience, judgement and skills of adults. 

Please take note of the safety tips within our Road Safety Policy​​​ and share these with other family members and carers who drop off and pick up children.

Stop, Kiss and Go Zones

Stop, Kiss and Go Zones help to make school zones safe because children are dropped off and picked up close to the school's entrance (so they do not need to cross any roads).  They reduce traffic jams around the school (as parents and carers come and go faster than if they were to park and walk in).

Our Stop, Kiss and Go Zones are located on Boscombe Road outside the school.  In the afternoons, three House zones operate:

• Paterson – outside Gate 3 near the library
  
• Mackellar – outside Gate 2 near the Administration Office
  
• Lawson – outside Gate 1 near the upper carpark       ​
