Sports clubs
Run club is conducted on the oval on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8am, please see the office staff or check the newsletter for more information. Students of all ages are welcome to attend.
Lunchtime clubs
Our Tech Crew students run lunchtime clubs in the computer lab Monday to Thursday at first break under the guidance of Mrs Fiona Allison and Ms Fiona Mackintosh.
Minecraft Challenge Club is open to students from year 3 to year 6. The students are given a building challenge each week and are able to work collaboratively in groups. Our year 6 mentors guide the students through the challenges. Minecraft Challenge Club is open to years 5 and 6 on a Monday and year 3 and 4 on a Thursday.
Coding club is open to students from year 2 to year 6. This club allows students to further develop their skills coding skills using Scratch. They can work collaboratively to produce a game or animaltion. This club runs every Tuesday.
Junior Robotics club open to students from prep to year 2 and introduces students coding using Beebots. Students are taught how to code and complete set challenges while working collaboratively in groups. Junior Robotics is run every Wednesday.
Chess club
Chess Club is held at lunch time once per week. A chess coach is employed to teach chess to interested children in Years 1 to 6. Lessons are one hour in duration and cost $5 per week. During Terms 2 and 4, children compete in a chess tournament. Winners receive trophies and medals.
Debating club
Debating Club is held before school once per week. A debating coach from Debating Australia teaches the art of debating to interested children in Years 4 to 6. Lessons are 45min in duration and cost $125 per term. Contact debatingaustralia@gmail.com.
