BeLearning Program - Brookfield eLearning Program
- To provide students with digitally rich 21st century learning environments that allow them to inquire, analyse, communicate and create within a personalised learning program.
- To provide best practice teaching that enables, enhances and transforms student learning and outcomes through Information and communications technology (ICT).
Every classroom at Brookfield State School has an Interactive Whiteboard which teachers use to enhance curriculum delivery and engagement for students.
Students are able to access at least 5 computers in their classrooms and through the Library Computer Lab (16 laptops). Our special education programs (SEP) students can access an iPad to support their learning.
We have provided banks of iPads for students in all year levels.
At Brookfield State School, we offer students the option to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) - Windows Devices in Year 3, 4 and 5 and iPads in Year 6.
In 2018 we introduced Windows devices into Year 3 (with a phased implementation over four years). Devices can be purchased through our JB Hi-Fi Portal using the School code: BSS2020
